We are pleased to announce the results of April’s Customer Delight.
Gold – Winner, £30
Our customer Carolyn Borthwick nominated Sian. Thank you so much for your assistance on the day of my delivery, I was expecting to be home but was unexpectedly taken ill. Your office and delivery drivers were very patient and along with the help of my neighbour the delivery was completed. The lady in your office who I dealt with was wonderful, very helpful and friendly, unfortunately I can’t remember her name but I think she was quite new to the job, but thank you anyway. We have just built the bbq and we are very happy with it.
Colleague nominees for Sian for her dedication on the front desk whenever the phone rings I always hear Sian pick up the phone and she is clear and concise when explaining anything to customers, she handles every call like it’s the first call of the day. Polite and professional and she’s also brilliant with customers that walk in even when she is managing the desk on her own and the phones are ringing!
Sian has stayed calm and collected during the transition to Flogas. She manned the front desk, took all internet orders and processed them, continued with the stock take in March and helped me to make the Flogas introduction as easy as possible from the admin teams’ point of view. It has allowed me to work through the customers, response orders, product codes and invoicing queries without any concerns for the day to day running of the sales process. I could also get on with the work for the new system and take my planned annual leave without worrying. Outstanding is the only word for it.
Silver – Winner, £20
Colleague nominations for Dan. One of our restaurants customers were short on gas after a very busy run upto Easter, Dan worked overtime on Saturday to ensure they had enough gas to feed the hungry customers.
Dan is very friendly and helpful.
Despite being late back on Thursday evening Dan agreed to go back out to a customer before going home and the customer was very grateful. He had already been to that customer earlier in the day and they weren’t at home.
Bronze – Winner, £10
Rocco is very helpful every time he makes his delivery. Rocco is a great housekeeper helping to clean the depot clean and tidy and always keen to get in front by bringing jobs forward and he has often completed runs much faster than anticipated.

Chris Fennell – Leeds (Solid Fuels)
Chris stayed late to unload Flogas after the delivery arrive late. Chris is always helpful he helps to unload my wagon when everyone else runs off!
Garry Smith – Dewsbury
Always passes on information to Jody about rivals approaching our customers. Garry worked earlier than necessary on Saturday going to Leeds to collect stock before opening up and running Dewsbury store.
He comes in early often to collect the truck from servicing so not to shorten the working day. He carried out a same day collection for a customer who wanted a cylinder removing which was in her way. The customer rang the office to thank us for a prompt and friendly service.
Miles – Leeds
Miles was really in the yard and when Flogas contractor came to measure up he saw us struggling to hold the cage signs and came over to help me straight away.
Tristan – Leeds Admin
Ian Stockwell placed his order for a BBQ on the 24th April and it was delivered 26th April, he will now review the product when he returns from his holidays, and he commented what an excellent service Tristan had given.
Assisting with the stock count by taking over the front desk and also helping to count the cellar in Leeds.
Tristan was highly praised by a friend of Gez when he came into the shop on Saturday, he has subsequently recommended innergy on Facebook.
