We are all aware of the tragic events in Ukraine.
Russia’s invasion of the country a few weeks ago has been widely reported in the media and, of course, although everyone is very concerned about the welfare of the Ukrainian people and the terrible events that they are experiencing, there are also inevitably going to be some worries about how the situation is likely to impact us here at home.
The UK government, along with governments elsewhere around the world, have already imposed sanctions on Russia and, while this will hopefully have the desired effect in bringing the war to a swifter conclusion, it is also already having a negative effect on product availability and prices nationwide.
With this in mind, it’s only natural to be concerned about how it will impact on LPG supplies in the UK, especially when taking into account the fact that Russia supplies a large amount of gas to the rest of the world.
A Shortage In Supply
Some LPG customers were already experiencing some issues in obtaining their gas because of a shortage of HGV drivers able to make the necessary deliveries and the shortage in the production of metal for the LPG cylinders. People living in some areas reported a struggle to get hold of the gas that they needed over a month ago due to this ongoing problem.
Now, with the Russian sanctions on the table, it is becoming even more difficult for some companies to supply their customers with their orders. Many of our competitors have failed to deliver the necessary amounts of LPG to their customers for several weeks now, so it isn’t too surprising that there are some major concerns in the industry.
Providing An Uninterrupted Service
The good news is, that despite the many challenges that the LPG industry is currently facing in terms of ongoing gas shortages because of the Russian/Ukrainian conflict, we are still able to supply our customers reliably with their orders.
We’re committed to ensuring our customers’ complete satisfaction, and we always strive to offer the very best level of service to our customers no matter what. Although this is a very challenging time for our sector, we are pulling out all the stops to make sure that we do everything we can to give our customers the service they deserve and expect.
To this end, thanks to our impressive scale and leverage within the industry, we are currently still providing our customers with an uninterrupted LPG delivery service, so you can enjoy complete peace of mind that your order will arrive.
At the present time, we can still offer selected day deliveries and we are still continuing to deliver LPG orders within 3 to 4 working days. That means you can place your gas order with us in confidence that it will arrive when you need it.
We are very confident that we will be able to continue providing the same level of service for our customers for the foreseeable future, regardless of what happens in Ukraine.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those suffering as a result of this unnecessary war.
