Hobbyweld 5 provides good penetration making this gas the ideal choice for MIG welding. This gas is mainly used for vehicle restoration. The gas produces a stable arc which results in less spatter and clean up time for the end user.
Hobbyweld 5 is recommended for use with sheet or thin sections of mild steel at a thickness of less than 7mm.

Gas Bottle Cylinders – All gas bottles deliveries are subject to a £7.19 delivery charge.
Please note that if your order includes Cylinder Gas, and you cancel the under the seven (7) day returns period or for any other reason (e.g. defective products), the collection of the Cylinder will be at a different time and possibly a different day to the collection of any other product(s) that you are returning.
A new issue of a Hobbyweld cylinder requires a one-off deposit charge. You can order a Refill/ Exchange cylinder as and when required providing you have a cylinder to exchange.
Cylinder Deposit Form – you will be issued your deposit form upon delivery of the cylinder.
Yes – if you don’t have an empty bottle of the same type / size, you will need to purchase a new bottle along with a Cylinder Refill Agreement.
No – if you currently have an empty bottle of the same size/type then all you need is a gas refill. Simply exchange your empty bottle for a new one.
