Hobbyweld Argon Gas is used when TIG welding stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminium, it can also be used on a MIG welder for aluminium and alloys in conjunction with the correct MIG wire. Argon is typically suitable for most TIG welding applications and used mainly by hobbyists, small fabrications, automotive garages and repairs of alloy wheels, vehicle body panels, model work and metals used for aircraft are among many of Argon’s popular uses including for farming equipment.

Gas Bottle Cylinders – All gas bottles deliveries are subject to a £7.43 delivery charge.
A surcharge is applied per cylinder on all orders placed for LPG gas cylinders at the checkout. Please note that this surcharge does not apply to beverage gas cylinders or industrial gas cylinders.
Please note that if your order includes Cylinder Gas, and you cancel the under the seven (7) day returns period or for any other reason (e.g. defective products), the collection of the Cylinder will be at a different time and possibly a different day to the collection of any other product(s) that you are returning.
A new issue of a Hobbyweld cylinder requires a one-off deposit charge. You can order a Refill/ Exchange cylinder as and when required providing you have a cylinder to exchange.
Cylinder Deposit Form – you will be issued your deposit form upon delivery of the cylinder.
Yes – if you don’t have an empty bottle of the same type / size, you will need to purchase a new bottle along with a Cylinder Refill Agreement.
No – if you currently have an empty bottle of the same size/type then all you need is a gas refill. Simply exchange your empty bottle for a new one.
